Monitoring the Running Status of NTP
Context
After NTP configurations are complete, run the following commands in any view to monitor NTP running status.
Procedure
- Run the display ntp-service statistics packet [ ipv6 | peer [ ip-address [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ] | ipv6 [ ipv6-address [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ] ] ] ] command to view statistics on NTP packets or symmetric peers.
- Run the display ntp-service status command to view the NTP status.
- Run the display ntp-service sessions [ verbose ] command to view all session information maintained by the local NTP service.
- Run the display ntp-service trace command to view the path from the local device to the reference clock source.
- Run the display ntp-service event clock-unsync command to view causes of the last 10 failed clock synchronizations.
