HQoS is a basic feature of a switch and is not under license control.

Only the following switch model supports HQoS:
S5720-HI, S5731-S, S5731S-S, S5731-H, S5731S-H

- The device supports only HQoS in the outbound direction.
- When each service flow of different users has the same priority, the device cannot provide congestion management for service flows based on users.
- If Eth-Trunk member interfaces are located on both HQoS-capable and HQoS-incapable cards, HQoS with authentication and authorization of wired and wireless users cannot be configured. This is because traffic may be forwarded through an HQoS-incapable card, and HQoS becomes unavailable.
