View Log Info
Context
The log management function records user actions, helps monitor system security, and provides information for system diagnosis and maintenance.
Procedure
- Choose View Log Info tab, as shown in Figure 7-5. and click the
- Set Level and Time to search for specified logs.
- Click Clear to clear all log information.
Set Parameters (Traditional management mode)
Context
After configuring the device to output logs to a log host, you can view logs saved on the log host to monitor device running status.
Procedure
- Choose Set Parameters tab, as shown in Figure 7-6. and click the
- Turn on Enable system log to enable information center.
- Click New and enter the log host IP address in the displayed dialog box.
- Click OK.
LSW Logs
Context
Log files generated on a switch include user log files and diagnostic log files. User log files record important operations (such as device restart) and trap information. Diagnostic log files record the service processing and fault information. You can manage log files based on service requirements.
Procedure
- Choose Maintenance > System Maintenance > Log. The LSW Logs page is displayed, as shown inFigure 7-7.
- Set a time range to query the log files generated during a specified time of period.
- Click
in the line of a log file to download it.
- Select a desired log file and click Delete to delete the log file.
