Backing Up the OfficeScan License
If the SVP is configured with OfficeScan and the OfficeScan license is still valid, back up the license before replacing the SVP.
- Log in to the SVP and double-click OfficeScan Web Console (HTML) on the SVP desktop.
The browser may prompt a message indicating that there is a security certificate issue. Ignore this message and continue the login.
The WEB CONSOLE LOGON page is displayed, prompting you to enter the user name and password.
- Enter the user name and password and click Log On.
- The initial user name of OfficeScan is root and the password is Officescan@storage.
- You are advised to change the default login password immediately after you have logged in to OfficeScan for the first time and periodically change your login password thereafter for security purposes.
- On the OfficeScan page, choose Administration > Account Management > User Accounts. In the account list, select the account and change the password as prompted.
- Choose Administration > Settings > Product License.
The Product License page is displayed.
- Click Antivirus for desktops and record the value of Activation code.
