Wearing an ESD Wrist Strap
Ensure that the cabinet or chassis has been properly grounded.
- Put on the ESD wrist strap. See Figure 5-2.
- Fasten the strap buckle and ensure that the ESD wrist strap is in contact with your skin.
- Connect the GND end of the ESD wrist strap to the ESD jack on the cabinet.
