Deleting a Remote Replication Pair
After you delete a remote replication pair, the replication relationship between primary and secondary resources of the remote replication pair will be deleted, and data in the primary resource will no longer be synchronized to the secondary resource.
Prerequisites
- The remote replication pair to be deleted has not been added to a CG.
- Running Status of the remote replication pair helps you determine whether the remote replication pair can be deleted, as shown in Table 5-7.
Context
- The essence of deleting a remote replication pair is to delete the remote replication configuration information of primary and secondary resources, thereby, to cancel the replication relationship between them.
- Remote replication configuration is automatically generated in primary and secondary resources when a remote replication pair is created.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > LUNs > Remote Replication Pairs.
- Select the remote replication pair that you want to delete and click Delete.Confirm your operation as prompted.
Alternatively, perform either of the following operations to delete a remote replication pair:
- Click More on the right of the desired remote replication pair and select Delete.
- Click the name of the desired remote replication pair. In the upper right corner of the page that is displayed, click Operation and select Delete.
