Deleting a Remote Replication CG
This section describes how to delete a remote replication CG that is no longer needed.
Prerequisites
Running Status of the remote replication CG helps you determine whether the remote replication CG can be deleted, as shown in Table 6-7.
Precautions
- The essence of deleting a remote replication CG is to delete the CG configuration information stored on both local and remote storage devices.
- If a remote replication link fails, you must forcibly delete the CG from the local and remote devices respectively.
- After a CG is deleted, you cannot centrally manage the remote replication pairs in the CG.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > Protection Groups > Remote Replication CGs.
- Select the remote replication CG you want to delete and click Delete.Confirm your operation as prompted.
You can also delete a remote replication CG as follows:
- Click More on the right of the desired remote replication CG and select Delete.
- Click the name of the remote replication CG. In the upper right corner of the page that is displayed, click Operation and select Delete.
