Managing SmartQoS
This section describes how to manage SmartQoS.
- Viewing SmartQoS Policies
This operation enables you to view information about SmartQoS policies created in the system. - Adding a Control Object
This operation enables you to add control objects into a SmartQoS policy. - Removing a Control Object
This operation enables you to remove control objects from a SmartQoS policy to release storage space. - Activating a SmartQoS Policy
Skip this operation if you have selected Activate Now in the Confirm page when creating a SmartQoS policy. A SmartQoS policy can take effect according to its triggering policy after it is activated. - Deactivating a SmartQoS Policy
In a storage system where only one type of applications is available or all LUNs or LUN groups need the same amount of resources, you can deactivate SmartQoS policies because adjusting and controlling performance of I/O classes is unnecessary. - Modifying a SmartQoS Policy
This section describes how to modify a SmartQoS policy to adjust service performance to meet service requirements. - Deleting a SmartQoS Policy
This section describes how to delete a SmartQoS. If a SmartQoS policy can no longer accurately adjust and control the performance of an I/O class as the application type changes, you can delete this policy.
