Deactivating a SmartQoS Policy
In a storage system where only one type of applications is available or all LUNs or LUN groups need the same amount of resources, you can deactivate SmartQoS policies because adjusting and controlling performance of I/O classes is unnecessary.
Prerequisites
The SmartQoS policy to be deactivated is in the Running or Waiting state.
Procedure
- Choose .
- Select the SmartQoS policy that you want to deactivate and click Deactivate.
The Deactivate SmartQoS Policy dialog box is displayed.
Alternatively, perform either of the following operations to deactivate SmartQoS policies:
- Click More on the right of the desired SmartQoS policy and select Deactivate.
- Click the name of the desired SmartQoS policy. In the upper right corner of the page that is displayed, select Deactivate from the Operation drop-down list.
- Confirm your operation as prompted.
