Setting an Address for an Extra NTP Server (ntp -d extraserver)
Function
The ntp -d extraserver command is used to set an address for an extra NTP server.
Format
ipmcset -t ntp -d extraserver -v addr

The value can be any of the following:
NOTE:
The value 0.0.0.0 indicates that the address of the extra NTP server is deleted. |
Usage Guidelines
Linux and Windows NTP servers are supported.
Example
Set an extra NTP server with IP address of 192.168.2.2.
iBMC:/->ipmcset -t ntp -d extraserver -v 192.168.2.2 Set NTP extraserver server (192.168.2.2) successfully.
