(Optional) Configuring a Priority for a Port
Context
In spanning tree calculation, priorities of the ports in a ring affect designated port election.
To block a port on a device, set a greater priority value than the default priority value for the port.
Procedure
- Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
- Run interface interface-type interface-number
The view of an interface participating in STP calculation is displayed.
- Run stp port priority priority
A priority is set for the port.
The default priority value of a port on a device is 128.
- Run commit
The configuration is committed.
