Monitoring STP/RSTP Topology Change Statistics
The statistics about STP/RSTP topology changes can be viewed. If the statistics increase, network flapping occurs.
Procedure
- Run the display stp [ process process-id ] [ instance instance-id ] topology-change command to check statistics about STP/RSTP topology changes.
- Run the display stp [ process process-id ] [ instance instance-id ] [ interface interface-type interface-number | slot slot-id ] tc-bpdu statistics command to check statistics about sent and received TC/TCN packets.
