(Optional) Configuring the Mode for Reading Interface and Queue Traffic Statistics in MIB Tables
Context
- If the low performance reading mode is used, the device obtains real-time interface and queue traffic statistics in the MIB tables from the chip. This mode features high accuracy but low performance (freezing may occur on the NMS side).
- If the high performance reading mode is used, the device obtains interface and queue traffic statistics in the MIB tables from the CPU. This mode features high performance (no freezing will occur on the NMS), but can present accurate statistics only about 10 minutes after the statistics are collected.
Only the CE12800 supports this function.
Procedure
- Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
- Run undo set qos-mib high-performance-mode disable
The high performance reading mode is configured to obtain interface and queue traffic statistics in the MIB tables. That is, the table hwXQoSIfQueueRunInfoTable obtains traffic statistics from the CPU.
By default, the high performance reading mode is configured to obtain interface and queue traffic statistics in the MIB tables.
- Run commit
The configuration is committed.
