Re-marking
Priority re-marking technology re-marks the packets that require a short delay and high service quality with a high priority so that the packets can be preferentially scheduled or forwarded.
As shown in Figure 9-1, on an enterprise network, there are voice and data services. Voice packets need to be preferentially processed.
Service Deployment
- Configure a traffic classifier to distinguish data and voice packets.
- Configure a traffic behavior and set a higher priority for voice packets and a lower priority of data packets.
- Configure a traffic policy, bind the traffic classifier and traffic behavior, and apply the traffic policy to the inbound direction of the switch so that voice packets are processed preferentially.
