Configuring LDP over TE
LDP over TE allows an LDP LSP to span an RSVP TE area, with the TE tunnel is as a hop of the LDP LSP.
Pre-configuration Tasks
Before configuring LDP over TE, complete the following tasks:
- Configure a dynamic MPLS TE tunne. For details, see Configuring a Dynamic MPLS TE Tunnel.
- Configure a local LDP session. For details, see Configuring Basic Functions of MPLS LDP.
- Configure a remote LDP session between two devices of a TE tunnel. For details, see Configuring Basic Functions of MPLS LDP.
LDP over TE applies to an L2VPN or L3VPN scenario. If the egress node of the LDP LSP is the same as the egress node of a TE tunnel, PHP needs to be enabled on the egress node. Otherwise, service forwarding may fail. For details on how to configure PHP, see Configuring Basic Functions of MPLS LDP.
