Installing Liquid Cooling Pipes
Prerequisites
Before installing liquid cooling pipes, check the residual pressure inside each liquid-cooled node. If the residual pressure is less than 50% of the factory pressure, the check fails. Perform the following steps for re-check:
- Fill the product to be tested with about 600 kPa compressed air or nitrogen.
- Record the data on the pressure gauge after the pressure is stable for 10 minutes. After the pressure is preserved for 10 minutes, record the data again and calculate the pressure drop. The pressure drop should be less than or equal to 7.5 kPa.
Because the pressure preservation duration is short, the pressure preservation result is highly sensitive to temperature. If you predict that the ambient temperature fluctuates, record the ambient temperature at the start and end of the test and calculate the voltage drop using the formula in Figure 3-48.
- If the check fails, contact Huawei technical support.
Procedure
- Install liquid cooling pipes.
Connect the water inlet and outlet pipes correctly according to the red and blue labels. The red label indicates water outlet, and the blue label indicates water inlet.
- Remove the plastic dustproof cap from the male connector of the quick connector of the manifold.
- Pull the shell of the female connector of the quick connector at the end of the pipe backward. See (1) in Figure 3-49 and Figure 3-50. Take out the dustproof plug and insert the female connector into the male connector. See (2) in Figure 3-49 and Figure 3-50.
