Cooling tower
|
- Dissipates the heat from the liquid loops to the exterior. Generally, it is placed outdoors. The water outlet temperature varies depending on the local temperature. The water outlet temperature range is 5°C to 32°C (41°F to 89.6°F).
- Supports the closed cooling tower.

CDU
|
- Implements flow distribution, pressure control, physical isolation, and condensation prevention for the secondary side.
- The CDU implements heat dissipation of the components that use direct contact liquid cooling (DCLC) in the cabinet (the heat of high-power CPUs is removed by the liquid cold plates). There are two types of CDUs: CDU cabinet and CUD chassis. The CDU cabinet is installed outside the full liquid cooling cabinet, and a secondary side is required. The CDU box is installed in the full liquid cooling cabinet, and no secondary side is required.

Full liquid cooling cabinet
|
Provides liquid cooling for the devices in the cabinet. The Huawei full liquid cooling cabinet is designed with a fully enclosed structure, which allows all heat to be removed from the cabinet through chilled water.

Air conditioner
|
Dissipates heat for IT cabinets. The Huawei full liquid cooling cabinet can remove all the heat from the cabinet through chilled water. Therefore, most air conditioners can be removed.

Primary side
|
- Circulating water system between the cooling tower and the CDU. It is also called primary loop. The green arrows indicate the inlet water, and yellow arrows indicate the outlet water, as shown in Figure 1-7.
- The water inlet temperature supported by the primary side is 5°C to 32°C (41°F to 89.6°F). In special scenarios, 35°C (95°F) is supported.
NOTE: Special scenarios refer to the scenarios with restrictions on device configurations and environment specifications. For details, contact Huawei engineers.

Secondary side
|
- Circulating water system between the CDU and the cabinet. It is also called secondary loop. When the external cabinet CDU is used, the system is deployed in the equipment room. If the built-in CDU is used, the system is integrated into the cabinet and does not need to be deployed separately. The blue arrows indicate the inlet water, and red arrows indicate the outlet water, as shown in Figure 1-7.
- The maximum water inlet temperature supported by the secondary side is 50°C (122°F).
