Float Liquid Level Sensor
Removing a Float Liquid Level Sensor
Procedure
- Determine the position of the float liquid level sensor to be removed.
- Remove all cables from the float liquid level sensor.
- Loosen the nut that secures the float liquid level sensor, as shown by (1) in Figure 5-12.
- Push aside the air baffle and take out the float liquid level sensor, as shown by (2) in Figure 5-12.
- Tighten the plastic nut at the rear of the float liquid level sensor, as shown by (3) in Figure 5-12.
- Place the removed float liquid level sensor in an ESD bag.
Installing a Float Liquid Level Sensor
Before installing the air/liquid heat exchanger, install the float liquid level sensors at the bottom of the air/liquid heat exchanger. Install two float liquid level sensors on each side of the air/liquid heat exchanger.
Procedure
- Determine the position for installing a float liquid level sensor.
- Take a float liquid level sensor out of the ESD bag.
- Loosen the plastic nut at the rear of the float liquid level sensor and back to the cable position, as shown by (1) in Figure 5-13.
- Push aside the air baffle and install the float liquid level sensor, as shown by (2) in Figure 5-13.
- Tighten the plastic nut, as shown by (3) in Figure 5-13.
- Connect all cables to the float liquid level sensor.
