Powering On the System
Procedure
- Connect the power cables of all cabinets to the external power supply.
- Connect the power cables of the CCU to the external power supply.
- Connect the power cables of all X6000 servers to the external power supply.
- Turn on the airbreak switch of the PDU.
All components in the cabinet are powered on together.
Verification Method
Check the running status after the power-on.
- Check the running status (RUN) indicator on the CCU panel. If the indicator is steady green or blinking, the power-on is complete.
- Check the power status indicators on the panels of each module. If the indicators are steady green, the power-on is complete.
Check the alarm status after the power-on.
- Check the CCU alarms of the CCU by using the OID commands over the SNMP V3 protocol.
- Check the X6000 alarms over the iBMC.
