Modifying the General Properties of a LUN
This operation enables you to view or modify the general properties of a LUN.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Provisioning >
LUN.
- Select the LUN that you want to view or modify and click Properties.
The Properties of LUN dialog box is displayed.
- Modify the general properties of the LUN.
- In the Properties of LUN dialog box, click the General tab.
- In the Name text box, enter a new name for the LUN.
Name a LUN in accordance with the following rules:
- The name must be unique.
- The name can contain only letters, digits, periods (.), underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
- The name must contain 1 to 31 characters.
- Optional: In the Description text box, describe the LUN.
- Confirm your operation.
- Click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click Close.
- Click OK.
