Deleting a Host
This operation enables you to delete a host.
Prerequisites
The host to be deleted is not added to any host group.
Precautions
After a host is deleted, the communication between LUNs on the host and the corresponding application server is interrupted.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Provisioning >
Host.
- Select the host you want to delete and click Delete.
The security alert dialog box is displayed.
- Confirm the deleting of the host.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box and select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation.
- Click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click Close.
