Forcibly Restarting a VM
This section describes how to forcibly restart a VM.
Prerequisites
- At least one VM has been installed in the storage system.
- The VM has been powered on.
Context
It is recommended that you log in to the VM to restart it.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
VM >
VM.
- Select the VM and choose More > Force Restart.
The security alert dialog box is displayed.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box, select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded. The Running Status of the VM is changed to Running.
- Click Close.
