Stopping Rolling Back a Snapshot Group
This operation enables you to stop rolling back snapshots in a snapshot group. After the rollback is stopped, the snapshots become active. However, data on the source LUNs will be incomplete. That is, the source LUNs are not restored to the data state preserved by the snapshots at an activation point in time.
Prerequisites
Running Status of the snapshots are Rolling back.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Data Protection >
Snapshot > LUN Group/Application.
- Click LUN group.
- In the upper function pane, select a snapshot group and choose More > Stop Rollback.
The security alert dialog box is displayed.
- Confirm the operation.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box, select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click Close.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box, select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.
