Viewing Snapshot Information
This operation enables you to view the information about snapshots, helping you learn about the health status and running status of snapshots.
Prerequisites
At least one snapshot has been created on the storage system.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Data Protection >
Snapshot > LUN.
- View the information about the snapshots in the list.
Table 3-1 describes the related parameters.

Name of a snapshot.
- The name must be unique.
- The name contains letters, digits, underscores (_), periods (.), and hyphens (-).
- The name contains 1 to 31 characters.

ID of a snapshot.

Health Status
Indicates whether a snapshot is normal. The possible value can be Normal or Fault.
Normal
Running Status
Indicates whether a snapshot is working properly. The possible value can be Activated, Rolling back, or Unactivated.
Activated
Source LUN Name
Name of the source LUN of a snapshot.
A source LUN is a LUN where source data resides.

Source LUN ID
ID of the source LUN of a snapshot.

Snapshot Capacity
The same as the capacity of the source LUN of a snapshot.

Number of the sectors in the source LUN.

Allocated Capacity
Storage pool capacity allocated to a snapshot. After the snapshot is activated, the capacity includes the data capacity and metadata capacity of the writable snapshot (excluding the data protection capacity of the source LUN). The metadata capacity occupies about 1% of the data capacity.

Activated At
Time when a snapshot is activated.

Mapping
Indicates whether a snapshot is mapped to a mapping view. The possible value can be Mapped or Unmapped.

WWN
World Wide Name (WWN) of a snapshot.

Rollback Start Time
Time when a snapshot rollback is started.

Rollback End Time

Rollback Speed
Rate at which a snapshot is rolled back. The possible value can be Low, Medium, High, or Highest.

vStore Name
Name of the vStore to which the snapshot belongs.
