Stopping Snapshot Rollback
This operation enables you to stop rolling back a snapshot. After the rollback is stopped, the snapshot becomes active. However, data on the source LUN will be incomplete. That is, the source LUN is not restored to the data state preserved by the snapshot at the last activation point in time.
Prerequisites
A snapshot has been created on the storage system and its Running Status is Rolling back.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Data Protection >
Snapshot > LUN.
- Select a snapshot you want to stop rolling back and choose More > Stop Rollback on the menu bar.
The security alert dialog box is displayed.
- Confirm the snapshot rollback.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box, select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click Close.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box, select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.
Data Protection >
