Modifying the SmartQoS Policy

Prerequisites

At least one snapshot has been created on the storage system.

Procedure

1. Log in to DeviceManager.
2. Choose Data Protection > Snapshot > LUN.
3. In the function pane, select the snapshot that you want to view and click Properties on the menu bar.

   The Properties of Snapshot dialog box is displayed.

4. View or modify the SmartQoS policy of the snapshot.
   1. Click the SmartQoS tab.
   2. View or modify the SmartQoS policy of the snapshot.

      Table 3-4 describes the related parameters.

      Parameter	Description	Example Value
      Priority Control	The system supports three I/O priorities: low, medium, and high. A LUN or snapshot with a high priority can obtain system resources preferentially. You can set different values for specific LUNs or snapshots based on service priorities to ensure critical services' performance. NOTE: If you change a priority, a security alert dialog box will be displayed.	Medium

   3. Click OK.
