Viewing Snapshot Group Information

Procedure

1. Log in to DeviceManager.
2. Choose Data Protection > Snapshot > LUN Group/Application.
3. Click LUN group.
4. In the upper function pane, view information about the snapshot group. Table 4-1 describes the related parameters.
   Table 4-1 Parameters of a snapshot group

   Parameter	Description
   Name	Name of a snapshot group.
   ID	ID of a snapshot group.
   Source Resource Name	Name of the source LUN group.
   vStore Name	Name of the vStore to which the snapshot group belongs. NOTE: The details of this parameter are displayed only when the snapshot is created in the vStore view. If the snapshot is created in the system view, this parameter is displayed as --.
   vStore ID	ID of the vStore to which the snapshot group belongs. NOTE: The details of this parameter are displayed only when the snapshot is created in the vStore view. If the snapshot is created in the system view, this parameter is displayed as --.

5. Click a snapshot group to view its member snapshots in the lower function pane. Table 4-2 describes the related parameters.
   Table 4-2 Parameters of member snapshots

   Parameter	Description
   Name	Name of a member snapshot.
   ID	ID of a member snapshot.
   Health Status	Health status of a member snapshot. Possible options are Normal and Faulty.
   Running Status	Running status of a member snapshot. Possible values are Activated, Rolling back, and Unactivated.
   Source LUN Name	Name of the source LUN.
   Source LUN ID	ID of the source LUN.
   Snapshot Capacity	Same as the capacity of the source LUN.
   Number of Source LUN Sectors	Number of sections of the source LUN.
   Allocated Capacity	Storage pool capacity allocated to a snapshot. After a snapshot is activated, the data capacity and metadata capacity allocated to the write snapshot exclude the data protection capacity of the source LUN. The metadata capacity occupies about 1% of the data capacity.
   Activated At	Time when a snapshot is activated.
   Mapping	Whether a snapshot is mapped to a mapping view. Possible values are Unmapped and Mapped.
   WWN	WWN of a snapshot.
   Rollback Start Time	Time when a snapshot rollback starts.
   Rollback End Time	Time when a snapshot rollback is completed.
   Rollback Speed	Rollback speed of a snapshot. Possible values are Low, Medium, High, and Highest.
