Consistently Reactivating a Snapshot Group
This operation enables you to manually deactivate a snapshot group and reactivate it at the current point in time so that it records the latest data of the source LUN group at the current point in time.
Prerequisites
All services on the snapshot group have been stopped.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Data Protection >
Snapshot > LUN Group/Application.
- Click LUN group.
- In the upper function pane, select a snapshot group and choose More > Consistently Reactivate.
The security alert dialog box is displayed.
- Confirm the operation.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box, select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click Close.
- Confirm the information in the dialog box, select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.
