Viewing Snapshot Information
This section describes how to view information about snapshots.
Context
- On the snapshot management page, you can click
to refresh snapshot information.
- On the snapshot management page, you can click
or
next to a parameter, and enter a keyword or select a value to search for the desired snapshots.
- On the snapshot management page, you can click
and select the snapshot parameters you want to view.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > File Systems > Snapshots.
- Select a vStore from the vStore drop-down list in the upper left corner.
Alternatively, perform any of the following operations to view the snapshot information:
- Choose Services > File Service > File Systems. Click the name of the desired file system. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Snapshot from the drop-down list.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > File Systems > File Systems. Click the name of the desired file system. On the page that is displayed, click the Protection tab and select Snapshot from the drop-down list.
- Choose Data Protection > Protection Entities > File Systems > File Systems. If the value of Snapshots of the desired file system is not 0, click the value.
- Select a file system. In the function pane, you can view its snapshot information.Table 3-1 describes the parameters.Table 3-1 Snapshot parameters
Parameter
Description
Name
Name of a snapshot.
NOTE:You can click the name of a snapshot to view its details and manage it.
ID
ID of a snapshot.
Health Status
Health status of a snapshot. Possible options are Normal and Faulty.
Rollback Speed
Rollback speed of a snapshot. Possible options are Low, Medium, High, and Highest.
- Low: 0 MB/s to 2 MB/s. This is used when the service load is heavy.
- Medium: 2 MB/s to 10 MB/s. This is used when the service load is relatively heavy.
- High: 10 MB/s to 40 MB/s. This is used when the service load is relatively light.
- Highest: above 40 MB/s. This is used when the service load is light.
Rollback Progress
Rollback progress of a snapshot.
Created
Local time when a file system snapshot was created.
Type
Type of a snapshot. Possible options are User snapshot, HyperCDP object, and Private snapshot.
- User snapshot: common snapshot created using the snapshot feature of file systems.
- HyperCDP object: HyperCDP object created using the HyperCDP feature of file systems.
- Private snapshot: snapshot created during the running of replication services such as remote replication.
Rollback Start
Time when a snapshot rollback starts.
Rollback End
Time when a snapshot rollback is completed.
