Checking the License
HyperSnap is license controlled. Check the license to ensure that it grants the permission to use HyperSnap.
Context
On DeviceManager, the HyperSnap license name is HyperSnap (Snapshot).
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose Settings > License Management.
- In the middle information pane, verify the license information.
Follow-up Procedure
- If no HyperSnap license is available, you must apply for, import, and activate the license. For details, see the Initialization Guide specific to your product model.
You can log in to Huawei's technical support website (https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/) and enter the product model and document name in the search box to search for, browse, and download the desired documents.
- If the storage system reports a license expiration alarm, obtain and import the license again.
