Introduction
Storage systems use security control measures to manage data integrity, confidentiality, and availability, and prevent unauthorized users from accessing storage resources and data. This section describes the security architecture and security features of the OceanStor Dorado V6 series storage system.
Security Architecture
Based on the security architecture of the ITU-T X.805 telecommunication network, the OceanStor Dorado V6 series storage system adopts the following security architecture to prevent security threats against storage devices and networks, as shown in Figure 1-1.
Security Features
The OceanStor Dorado V6 series storage system supports multiple security features for user and network access management. Table 1-1 lists the supported security features.
Security Feature |
Description |
---|---|
Security deployment |
Security networking, plane isolation, and encrypted data transfer ensure data transfer security both physically and logically. |
Security configuration |
|
Security maintenance |
The storage system uses hardware indicators as well as event and alarm notification to implement security maintenance. |
