Creating a Site
Context
To enable network devices within the same management scope to be centrally managed on iMaster NCE-Campus, you can create a site and add these network devices to the site. Typically, one campus of a large- or medium-sized campus network is one site. To be specific, the core, aggregation, and access switches of the campus need to be added to the site.
You can add devices when creating a site or after a site is created.
To add devices by ESN, if the network plan only includes device models and device ESNs are not yet determined, you can use the scan function of the CloudCampus APP to import the device ESNs after the devices are installed and connected at the site.
- On the login page of iMaster NCE-Campus, you can scan the QR code to download the CloudCampus APP.
- Before adding a stack, add the member switches to the site.
- You can also add devices by importing a network plan template when performing tasks in Configuring a Network Plan.
