Configuring the Function of Synchronizing Accounts from AD/LDAP Servers
Context
iMaster NCE-Campus allows administrators to synchronize user groups and user accounts from the active directory (AD) server and other standard Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) servers. Administrators can enable the function of synchronizing accounts from AD or LDAP servers when configuring user access and authentication, without the need to manually add user accounts.
- To synchronize user groups and user accounts from AD or LDAP servers, administrators need to add the third-party data source (AD/LDAP server from which accounts are synchronized) when configuring authentication rules. For details, see Configuring Authentication Rules.
- To use AD accounts for MSCHAPv2-based 802.1X authentication, log in to iMaster NCE-Campus using a system administrator account, choose System > System Management > Third-party Service, and click the Ad Domain Configuration tab. Then click Add to add iMaster NCE-Campus to the planned AD domain.
