Overview
Traditionally, network O&M is usually device-centric. O&M personnel have to log in to devices one by one or use an NMS to centrally manage multiple devices. However, the NMS can only display data immediately after obtaining it or display it after basic processing. Data analysis still needs to be carried out manually, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive, as well as incurring high costs and requiring operators to be highly trained. In addition, as more campus networks are going wireless, a larger number of wireless terminals access campus networks, such as mobile phones, tablets, printers, and electronic whiteboards.
