Synchronizing Data to iMaster NCE-CampusInsight

Context

iMaster NCE-Campus and iMaster NCE-CampusInsight are interconnected to perform intelligent WLAN fault diagnosis and user experience analysis, implementing intelligent O&M.

• Since iMaster NCE-CampusInsight does not support geographic redundancy, after a disaster recovery (DR) switchover is performed between the active and standby iMaster NCE-Campus clusters, you need to reconfigure interconnection with iMaster NCE-CampusInsight on iMaster NCE-Campus. In addition, on iMaster NCE-CampusInsight, you need to update the certificate of iMaster NCE-Campus and reconfigure interconnection with iMaster NCE-Campus. If iMaster NCE-CampusInsight fails due to a disaster, historical analysis data will be lost. In this case, you need to install a new iMaster NCE-CampusInsight system with the same southbound IP address as that of the original system and reconfigure interconnection between iMaster NCE-CampusInsight and iMaster NCE-Campus.

• After the interconnection is complete, tenant administrators need to synchronize data between the two systems.

Prerequisites

• The system administrator has configured the interconnection between iMaster NCE-CampusInsight and iMaster NCE-Campus. For details, see Configuring Devices to Report Data to iMaster NCE-CampusInsight.
• The tenant administrator has completed SNMP settings, enabled LLDP, and configured a syslog server.

Procedure

1. Log in to iMaster NCE-Campus as a tenant administrator. Choose System > System Settings > Analysis Component Integration from the main menu.
2. Click Synchronize Immediately and click OK in the dialog box that is displayed. iMaster NCE-Campus then synchronizes the data of all devices and sites under the current tenant to iMaster NCE-CampusInsight.

   After Synchronization status changes to Synchronization completed, you can log in to iMaster NCE-CampusInsight to view the data synchronization result.

Follow-up Procedure

• The tenant administrator needs to enable the function of reporting indicator data on APs and switches as required. For details, see Configuring Devices to Report Data to iMaster NCE-CampusInsight.
• After the interconnection is complete, you can be redirect to iMaster NCE-CampusInsight from iMaster NCE-Campus and perform O&M operations.
