Question
What is the requirement on the number of stacked switches when using iMaster NCE-Campus for management and O&M on a CloudCampus network?
Answer
For core switches, a maximum of two can be stacked. For aggregation/access switches, it is recommended that a maximum of four be stacked. If more than four aggregation/access switches are stacked, the following risks may occur:
- The number of users on access devices in policy association scenarios may exceed the upper limit.
- Using the controller to deliver port-related configurations slows down or even fails.
- Stacking more than four switches may cause high CPU usage on the switches.
