How Do I Change the IP Addresses and Domain Names After iMaster NCE-Campus Is Installed?
Question
How do I change the southbound, northbound, and file server IP addresses or domain names after iMaster NCE-Campus is installed?
Answer
- Log in to the management plane. For details, see Logging In to the Management Plane.
- Choose More. . On the page that is displayed, click
- Choose .
- Modify the parameters listed in the following table.
- Changing southbound IP addresses applies to new deployment scenarios. If devices have been added or imported to iMaster NCE-Campus, you need to delete the devices along with the sites where the devices are deployed before changing southbound IP addresses.
- In single-server scenarios, you can change the northbound management IP address, southbound service IP address, and file server IP address only in scenarios where NAT is required. The preceding IP addresses cannot be changed in scenarios where NAT is not required.
- If you need to change the IP address of the NIC, reinstall iMaster NCE-Campus and back up and restore product data by following the instructions provided in Backup and Restore.
Parameter
Description
OMConsoleAccessAddress
Set this parameter to the new northbound management IP address:18008 or northbound domain name, which must be same as the value of NORTH_OUTER_IP.
NOTICE:If this parameter is set to an IP address, the port number must be included.
SSO_SERVICE_TRUSTED_IP
Set the original northbound management IP address or northbound domain name to the new northbound management IP address or northbound domain name, which must be same as the value of NORTH_OUTER_IP.
NORTH_OUTER_IP
Set this parameter to the new northbound management IP address or northbound domain name. If this parameter is set to the new northbound management IP address or northbound domain name, modify both OMConsoleAccessAddress and SSO_SERVICE_TRUSTED_IP.
SSHSERVERNORTHNATIP(SSHSERVERNORTHNATIP)
In NAT scenarios, if the value of northbound management IP address is changed, the value of SSHSERVERNORTHNATIP must be changed to be the same as that of northbound management IP address.
NOTE:It is recommended that SSHSERVERNORTHNATIP be set to a public IP address. If the parameter has been set to a domain name, you are advised to change it to a public IP address.
LVS_NORTH_VIP
Set this parameter to the new floating IP address for northbound load balancing.
SOUTH_OUTER_IP
Set this parameter to the new southbound service IP address.
SSHSERVERSOUTHNATIP(SSHSERVERSOUTHNATIP)
In NAT scenarios, if the value of southbound service IP address is changed, the value of SSHSERVERSOUTHNATIP must be changed to be the same as that of southbound service IP address.
SOUTH_BUSINESS_DOMAINNAME
Set this parameter to the new southbound domain name.
LVS_SOUTH_VIP
Set this parameter to the new floating IP address for southbound load balancing.
FS_OUTER_IP
Set this parameter to the new file server IP address.
LVS_FS_VIP
Set this parameter to the new floating IP address for file server load balancing.
- Click OK. Choose System > Task List to check whether the parameters are modified successfully.
- Restart the service. The parameters that are modified take effect only after the service is restarted.
Click Product > System Monitoring, and click the Service tab. On the tab page that is displayed, search for CampusAccesscfgService , CampusAccountService , CampusBaseService, CampusCfgService, CampusPerfService, CampusOAMService, SSHServerSevice, and PortalServerService, select the services, click Stop, and then click Start. The services are restarted.
If SDWANCfgService is installed on the management plane, you need to restart SDWANCfgService after changing the southbound service IP address (SOUTH_OUTER_IP) or file server IP address (FS_OUTER_IP) to make the setting take effect.
After the domain name is changed, the new domain name is delivered to devices for Portal authentication. However, for devices to which the domain name has been delivered, the existing domain name will not be automatically updated.
After the northbound management IP address or domain name is changed, you need to log in using https://IP address:18008 or https://domain name. You cannot enter IP address:18008 or domain name in the address bar to log in.
- Restart the ssowebsite process.
Choose Product > System Monitor, click the Services tab, click NCECAMPUS/AuthMgmt/authmgmt, and select the ssowebsite process. Click Stop and then Start.
The number of ssowebsite services depends on the actual search result. All ssowebsite services that are found need to be restarted.
The ssowebsite services do not take effect immediately after the ssowebsite process is restarted. Wait for several minutes before the services run normally.
