How Do I Obtain a Revoke Code and Apply for a New License File?
Question
How do I obtain a revoke code and apply for a new license file?
Answer
When iMaster NCE-Campus detects that the license file on iMaster NCE-Campus does not match the NIC of the iMaster NCE-Campus server or it detects that the license is invalid and generates an alarm for license invalidity, you can revoke the license to generate a license revocation code, and apply for a new license using the revocation code and the equipment serial number (ESN).
Pay attention to the following points when you revoke a license file:
- You cannot revoke a license file that has expired or is in Trial state.
- The new license file applied using the ESN and revoke code must contain resource and function items the same as those in the invalid license file.
- A license file cannot be restored after being revoked. After you revoke a license file, it is still available for 60 days and becomes invalid after that.
- Log in to iMaster NCE-Campus as the admin user.
- Choose on the home page.
- Click Revoke License. In the OK dialog box, click Yes.
- Log in to the ESDP system at http://app.huawei.com/isdp.
- Choose License Commission And Maintenance > Revoked License Recovery from the navigation pane to access the invalid license rolling back page.
- Enter the revoke code and click Verify.
- After the system verification succeeds, the system displays the product name, ESN, and license information. Click Submit.
- The system generates a new license file. Click Download to download the license file.
