How Do I Change the iMaster NCE-Campus Login Password?
The iMaster NCE-Campus provides an initial username and an initial password. For security purposes, change the initial password upon the first login to iMaster NCE-Campus. Changing passwords regularly prevents password theft and unauthorized access.
Remaining a password unchanged for a long period of time increases the risk of password theft or cracking. Regularly changing the password resolves this problem and is therefore strongly recommended.
Prerequisite
You have logged in to the web UI of iMaster NCE-Campus.
Background Information
By default, iMaster NCE-Campus provides an initial user name admin3. This account has the permissions of an administrator/operator.
The default username and password are available in iMaster NCE-Campus Default Usernames and Passwords (Enterprise Network or Carrier). If you have not obtained the access permission of the document, see Help on the website to find out how to obtain it.
Procedure
- Change the initial password.
Upon the first login to iMaster NCE-Campus, you will be directed to the page for changing the initial password.
- On the Change Password page, enter the old password and a new password, and confirm the new password.
- Click OK.
- Change passwords regularly.
- Choose from the main menu.
- On the Basic Information page, click
next to the password. In the dialog box that is displayed, set a new password.
