What Can I Do If A Message Is Displayed Indicating That the Core Device or Its Link Does Not Exist When I Create a Fabric Network?
Question
When I create a fabric network enabled with Automatic routing domain configuration and add devices at a site to the fabric network, the message "The core device does not exist or the link of the core device does not exist!" is displayed. What can I do?
Answer
The possible causes are as follows:
- No core device is added to the site or a device's role is configured incorrectly at the site. In this situation, choose from the main menu to add a core device to the site or configure a device at the site as a core device.
- A link of the core device does not exist or is faulty. In this situation, check whether a link for the core device is configured and whether the link status is normal. Links can be automatically discovered or manually configured. For details, see Managing Links.
