This topic uses the Windows Server 2008 R2 standard operating system as an example.
- Delete the root certificate and domain certificate.
- Choose and enter mmc on the Run page.
- Choose .
- Select Certificates and click Add.
- Select Computer account and click Next.
- Retain the default settings and click Finish.
- Click OK.
- Select the root certificate and domain certificate in and click Delete.
- Choose and enter mmc on the Run page.
- Uninstall the Active Directory Certificate Services.
- Click
to open the server manager.
- Click Roles in the navigation tree on the left, right-click Active Directory Certificate Services, and select Remove Role Services.
- Deselect Certification Authority Web Enrollment and then deselect Certification Authority.
- Click Remove.
- After the deletion is successful, the system automatically restarts.

to open the server manager.
