Configuring an Overlay Network
- Create a VN.
- Choose Create. . Click
- Set the VN name and select sites to be added to the VN.
- Click OK.
- Configure WAN services for the VN. Configure the overlay topology of the VN.
- Choose and click the name of the created VN.
- On the Predefine Topology tab page, set Mode to Simple Mode.
- Set Topology mode to Hub-Spoke.
- Configure the hub and branch sites.
- Click Apply.
- (Optional) Configure LAN services for the VN.
- Choose and click the name of the created VN.
- Click LAN Service.
- Click the device icon. The device configuration page is displayed.
- Configure functions based on the device type and role.
The devices and functions that need to be configured for LAN services vary according to the networking. LAN services can also be configured on a per-site basis. The configuration method is the same as that for a single campus network and is not described in this example.
- Configure LAN-WAN interconnections for the VN.
- Interconnection interface configuration:
- Choose and click the name of the created VN.
- Click LAN-WAN Interconnection.
- Set interconnection interface parameters (advanced mode) and click Apply.
Configure the egress AR router at a branch site as the management gateway for LAN-side devices. The following uses Site_3 as an example.
