Application Scenarios and Service Requirements
Application Scenarios
This case applies to small- and medium-sized scenarios such as experience stores, logistics stores, and insurance stores with an area of smaller than 3000 m² and fewer than 2000 concurrent online terminals.
Service Features
- The number of users at a single site is fewer than 2000, and 5 to 100 cloud APs are deployed to provide wireless network coverage.
- A site uses one to five cloud switches to build a Layer 2 LAN. Cloud APs communicate with each other at Layer 2 through the cloud switches.
- The tenant network requires high service security. It must support advanced security functions such as URL filtering, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), security defense, and antivirus. A cloud firewall is used to as the egress gateway.
- The tenant network has high reliability requirements. The egress gateway is connected to a carrier network through dual Ethernet links.
- Most terminals access the network in wireless mode. A few terminals access the network in wired mode through switches.
Deployment Mode
In this document, Huawei CloudCampus Solution can be used for network construction. Generally, enterprises of this scale have their own IT personnel, and tenant networks are built and maintained by tenants themselves.
- iMaster NCE-Campus is deployed on Huawei public cloud.
- Tenant networks are built and maintained by tenants themselves. Tenant administrators are the main implementers, and MSP administrators only provide simple deployment assistance.
