Copper Bar Module
Removing the Copper Bar Module
- Wear an ESD wrist strap. For details, see ESD Protection.
- Power off the device. For details, see Powering Off the Server.
- Remove the power cables and all signal cables.
- Remove the device. For details, see Removing the Device and Guide Rails.
- Remove the chassis cover. For details, see Chassis Cover.
- Remove the mainboard. For details, see Mainboard.
- Open the ejector lever of the copper bar module and pull out the copper bar module upwards. See (1) and (2) in Figure 5-103.
- Place the removed copper bar module in an ESD bag.
Installing the Copper Bar Module
- Align the copper bar module with the slot, insert the copper bar module downwards into the chassis, and close the ejector lever of the copper bar module. See (1) and (2) in Figure 5-104.
- Install the mainboard. For details, see Mainboard.
- Install the air duct and support beam. For details, see Air Duct and Support Beam.
- Install the chassis cover. For details, see Chassis Cover.
- Install the device. For details, see Installing the Device and Guide Rails.
- Connect the power cables and all signal cables.
- Power on the device. For details, see Powering On the Server.
