Riser Cards and PCIe Slots
Riser Module
Figure 2-20 shows riser card 1 supported by riser module 1. Figure 2-21 shows riser card 2 supported by riser module 2.
- Riser cards 1 and 2 must be installed, and the four Slimline cables of riser card 1 must be connected. Otherwise, the NPU is unavailable.
- Riser card 1 supports only slots 1 and 2. Slot 3 corresponds to the three PCIe 4.0 x8 Slimline connectors on riser card 1.
- Riser card 2 supports only slots 4 and 5. Slot 6 corresponds to the three PCIe 4.0 x8 Slimline connectors on riser card 2.
