Replacing a Condensate Pump
Prerequisites
- A condensate pump needs to be replaced.
- A spare condensate pump of the same model is available and functional.
- Tools: flat-head insulated torque screwdriver, Phillips insulated torque screwdriver, socket wrench
Before replacing the condensate pump, drain water from the water pan completely.
Context
The condensate pump needs to be maintained from the air return side.
Procedure
- Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the display module.
Exercise caution because the unit is still energized after it is shut down on the screen of the display module.
- Turn off the active power switch QF1 and standby power switch QF2.
- Remove the air filter.
- Block the water inlet pipe in the water pan to prevent condensate water from flowing out of the water pan.
- Disconnect the condensate pump power cable terminal at the bottom of the cabinet.
- Remove the hose clamp from the water outlet pipe using a flat-head insulated torque screwdriver, and remove the pipe.Figure 10-17 Removing the water outlet pipe

- Remove the hose clamp from the water inlet pipe using a flat-head insulated torque screwdriver, and remove the pipe.
- Remove the hose clamp from the condensate pump using a flat-head insulated torque screwdriver, and remove the condensate pump.Figure 10-18 Removing the water inlet pipe and condensate pump
- Install a new condensate pump and secure it using hose clamps.
- Connect the water pipes and secure them using hose clamps.
- Connect the power cable terminal of the condensate pump.
- Remove the blockage from the water pipe and install the air filter.
- Power on the unit, tap Start on the home screen, choose Maintenance > Performance Maintenance, and clear the runtime of the condensate pump.
- Tap Start on the home screen and check that the smart cooling product is running properly and no alarm is generated.
