Replacing a Water Inlet Solenoid Valve
Context
Recommended tool and material: a Phillips insulated torque screwdriver and a new water inlet solenoid valve
Procedure
- Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the display module.
Exercise caution because the unit is still energized after it is shut down on the screen of the display module.
- Remove the middle and right air filters.
- Turn off the active power switch QF1 and standby power switch QF2.
- Turn off the water inlet switch for the water inlet solenoid valve.
- Remove the YV1.1 and YV1.2 cable terminals.
- Remove the water inlet and outlet pipes of the water inlet solenoid valve.
- Remove the two screws from the mounting sheet metal of the water inlet solenoid valve using a Phillips insulated torque screwdriver, and remove the water inlet solenoid valve.Figure 10-13 Removing the screws securing the sheet metal of the water inlet solenoid valve
- Install a new water inlet solenoid valve.
- Reinstall the middle and right air filters.
- Power on the device.
- Tap Start on the home screen.
