Replacing a Fan Drive
Procedure
- Open the cover of the electric control box and turn off the switch of the faulty fan drive.
Exercise caution because the unit is still energized after it is shut down on the screen of the display module.
- Remove the air filter in the middle and push down the clip on the fan drive to be replaced.Figure 10-11 Removing the fan drive
- Pull out the handle and directly remove the fan drive from the subrack.
- Insert the spare fan drive into the corresponding slot in the power distribution subrack, and push the latch downwards to lock the fan drive.
- Turn on the switch of the fan drive and reinstall the cover of the electric control box.
- After the home screen is displayed, check that the smart cooling product is running properly and no alarm is generated.
