Installation Precautions
To ensure the optimal operating condition and longest service life, install the unit correctly as required.
Equipment Installation Precautions
- Install the equipment according to the design drawing and reserve space for maintenance.
- Thermal insulation measures should be applied to outdoor water pipes to prevent drainage blockage or insufficient water supply due to freezing.
- The top of the unit should be sealed during installation (before power-on) with baffle plates or plastic bags to prevent dust on the top of the unit or inside the unit.
- When performing operations above the equipment, take measures to protect the equipment against damage. Do not step on it.
- The upstream supply water pressure for the equipment should be greater than or equal to 0.35 MPa.
Equipment Room Layout Requirements
- Before installation, check that the installation environment meets requirements and check whether buildings need to be altered to facilitate pipe routing, cable routing, and ventilation duct layout.
- Ensure that the equipment room provides good heat insulation, and the walls and floor are dampproof.
- To ensure good ventilation, do not place the equipment in the corner of a room or at the end of a long and narrow room.
- During system operation, all doors and windows of the equipment room should be closed to reduce the additional load of the unit.
- Install the equipment in a spacious place.
- The equipment should be placed as far away from offices as possible, and noise control measures should be taken.

(7) External components |
- Components shown by (5) and (6) in the preceding figure are delivered with the smart cooling product. Other components need to be purchased and installed onsite. Do not install the other components directly under the cabinet.
- It is recommended that a water strainer with 20 meshes and a pressure resistance of greater than 1.6 MPa be used onsite. The actual pressure resistance depends on the site requirements. The water strainer should be installed on the external water inlet pipe and close to the smart cooling product.
