Replacing a Water Valve Actuator
Context
- A water valve actuator needs to be replaced.
- A spare water valve actuator of the same model is available and functional.
- Tools: diagonal pliers and cable ties

Procedure
- Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the display module.
Exercise caution because the unit is still energized after it is shut down on the screen of the display module.
- Open the electric control box, and turn off the active power switch QF1 and standby power switch QF2.
- Remove the air filter on the right.
- Remove the wiring terminals connected to the actuator using a small-sized flat-head insulated torque screwdriver, and cut off the cable ties that bind the actuator cables to ensure that the cables are separated from the unit.
- Remove the water valve actuator.
- Remove the actuator handle.
- Insert the hex key on the handle into the hole in the front of the actuator.
- Loosen the screws and remove the actuator.
If there is interference with the water inlet pipe onsite, remove it using the short edge of a common hex key.

- Remove the water valve actuator and install a new one.
- Remove the water valve actuator handle.
- Align the hole in the water valve actuator body with the hole in the water valve actuator mounting kit, attach the connecting plate to the screw on the left, secure the water valve actuator using the handle, and reinstall the handle.
- Install cables and secure them using cable ties.
- Reinstall the air filter on the right.
- Power on the unit, tap Start on the home screen, choose Maintenance > Startup Wizard, and commission the water valve actuator to check that it works properly before you exit.
- On the home screen, choose Performance Maintenance screen and clear the runtime of the chilled water valve. to enter the
